Spring Conference: Discipline-Cluster Choices
Discipline-Cluster Workshop Descriptions
In the discipline-cluster workshop, you will join with other first-time GSIs in similar fields to prepare for your first teaching experience at UC Berkeley. The workshop will focus on topics such as preparing for the semester and first day of class, active learning techniques, and challenging scenarios you may encounter in teaching. The goal of the workshop is to provide an overview of what you will need to do to get started in teaching and introduce you to tools you can use throughout the semester.
