FAQs
Do the sessions begin on Berkeley time or exactly at the time printed on the schedule? All sessions begin at the time listed on the schedule, NOT on Berkeley time. To honor workshop leaders’ time, late arrivals will not be permitted.
I can’t stay for the whole day, what should I do? Will I still get credit?
You are required to attend all conference sessions. If you arrive late or have to leave early, you will unfortunately not receive credit for completion. If you need to discuss this further, please contact the GSI Center at [email protected].
I’m not teaching this semester, can I still attend? / Do I have to attend this conference?
GSIs are encouraged to attend the conference the same semester they are teaching. However, we do not discourage attending a semester early.
I signed up for the wrong workshop. Can I attend another one?
As long as the workshop is not already listed as full, you may switch workshops. To switch workshops, register for your preferred discipline cluster session through the links above (or directly through Engage).
Which Discipline-Cluster Workshop should I attend?
Select the workshop that would best support the content you will be teaching.
