Campus
& Leadership (CLL) comprises programs and services supporting student
development and education through our three main areas: Leadership
Development, Public Service, and Values and Ethics Clarification.
Within CLL, you can seek support services from the Attorney for Students,
work with the cult awareness program, review the Code of Student Conduct
with our judicial affairs staff, or talk with the sexual assault resource
specialist at the Gender Equity Resource Center. (Outside links on this
page open in new windows.)
The
CLL serves as the campus administrator of the Code of Conduct. The Office
of Student Conduct (OSC) oversees administration of the Code. OSC is responsible
for investigating and resolving allegations of violations of the Code,
including both academic and non-academic issues. Examples of academic
violations include cheating, plagiarism, furnishing false information,
creating an improper academic advantage for oneself or a disadvantage
to another student, interference with courses of instruction, and theft.
OSC publishes the Academic
Dishonesty: A Guide for Faculty and Academic
Honesty: A Guide for Students. Both guides are available online at
the OSC website.

The Student Advocate is elected
every year during ASUC elections. With the help of several assistants,
the Student Advocate helps students with University-related problems concerning:
admissions, dismissals and transfers; financial aid problems; sexual harassment;
student conduct; grade disputes; procedural problems; and UC housing or
employment.
