- The Student Learning
Center can help GSIs identify ways of assistint students to improve
their writing and strengthen their study skills.

- Counseling and Psychological
Services offers workshops for GSIs on reducing stress, handling
difficult students, recognizing students' problems, and referring students
with difficulties to the proper services.

- The Disabled Students'
Program (DSP) offers GSIs workshops and materials on the needs of
disabled students. Staff members are also available for private consultations.

The mentoring policy outlines the roles and responsibilities of departments

- The Title IX Compliance
Officer consults with faculty members, GSIs, and students about
sexual harrassment, classroom climate, and the treatment of women. The
Compliance Officer can advise on the standards of behavior for GSIs.
The Compliance Officer is also available to make presentations to classes
or groups.

- Educational Technology
Services (ETS) provides workshops and assistance on using
instructional technology in teaching.

- The Teaching Library
promotes information literacy and can assist GSIs and their students
in developing successful library research assignments and in conducting
library research.

- Reinventing Large Enrollment
Classes is part of the WASC reaccreditation report. This part of
the report contains useful information on the resources used on campus
in these classes.
